HI, I’M KATIE

I am so honored you’ve made it to my little neck of the woods! I am an editorial and documentary wedding photographer based in Los Angeles, serving the LA + Santa Barbara region, traveling worldwide to tell stories of couples from a creative yet intentional and fun perspective. I have been capturing weddings for 15 years now, and my style encapsulates my passion for art, texture, shadows, travel, culture, and people. I am for the couple who wants to be present on their wedding day, who choose people and the feel of the day over everything, who love to dine slowly and enjoy every bit of the experience, and who want their photographer to tell their story from an organic and intentional perspective. This is me! I am not just a vendor on your day; I am someone who desires to throw herself into your people because who you love, I love! When we say Katie was the PERFECT photographer for our wedding weekend, we mean it. She is absolutely world-class at her craft. She takes such care in getting to know her clients as people, hearing their stories and understanding their vision. Then, onsite, she is a rockstar at directing the room while maintaining poise and the right level of energy for the space. She laughed and joked with our wedding party, put the parents and kids at ease, and wrangled our lovable (but sometimes unruly) groomsmen. She knew our schedule front to back and kept us on track, while maintaining flexibility as we got caught up in the day. By the end of the night, she was friends with our people and we felt so celebrated by her presence. And then we got the photos back, and when we tell you they perfectly captured our day, we mean it. All of the emotions of our favorite day, on the faces of our favorite people, were in our gallery.
